The Venezuelan Oswaldo (Ozzie) Guillén will be coach of the France team in the next qualifier of the World Baseball Classic (CMB).
This was announced by Ernesto Jerez, Dominican narrator of the American chain ESPNin the midst of coverage of the 2022 All-Star Game.

In 16 years as a Major League Baseball player, Guillén won the Rookie of the Year Award (1985), a Gold Glove, and was called up to the midseason game three times.
Already in the role of manager, the Mirandino led the Chicago White Sox to the conquest of the 2005 World Series. In addition to winning the Manager of the Year award in that campaign, he established himself as the first Latin American to emerge triumphant from the “Classic of Autumn».
