This Wednesday the board trophy, which will be played by up to 55 men’s and women’s teams from Castilla-La Mancha in four sports: football, futsal, basketball and handball. The winner of each category will receive a prize of 3,000 euros, while the runner-up will take 1,500.
Football
The men’s tournament will take place in August and eleven teams will compete: three from the Second RFEF and eight from the Third RFEF. The matches of the first round will be:
– Toledo-Torrijos
– Azuqueca-Marchamalo
– Cuenca-Villarrobledo
– Villarrubia-Calvo Sotelo
The winners will face each other in a second round, from which two teams will qualify to face Talavera and Socuéllamos in the third round. Later, in the fourth round, the winner will qualify for the RFEF Cup and, in addition, will play the final against Guadalajara or Quintanar del Rey (exempt from the previous rounds when playing the Copa del Rey).
The women’s tournament will also be in August between five teams: CD Alba Women’s Foundation, FF La Solana, CF Women Albacete, CD Dinamo Guadalajara and Daimiel Women’s Football (the last two teams will play a preliminary round).
Indoor football
Seven teams will compete in the men’s tournament: Viña Albali Valdepeñas, CD Manzanares, FS Soliss Talavera, Bargas FS, CD Cobisa, CD Albacete FS and FS de Moral de Calatrava (the first three will start from the semifinals).
In the women’s tournament there will be six teams: CD Chiloeches, Almagro FSF, Mora FSF, CD Villacañas, Globalcaja Albacete FS and CD Salesianos de Puertollano (the first two will start from the semifinals).
Baloncesto
Ten teams will compete in the men’s tournament: CB Almansa, Albacete Basket (both will start from the semifinals), Globalcaja Quintanar, CB Socuéllamos, Guadalajara Basket, Baloncesto Talavera, CDB La Solana, CB Daimiel, Tobarra CB and Baloncesto La Roda.
Seven teams will compete in the women’s tournament: CB Guadalajara, CEI Toledo, Basket Cervantes, Group 76 Alkasar, CB Cuenca, CBA Albacete and CB Polígono.
Handball
Six teams will compete in the men’s tournament: Ciudad Encantada Cuenca, Guadalajara (both will start from the semifinals), Alarcos, Caserío, Bolaños and Pozuelo.
Three teams will compete in the women’s tournament, which will face each other: Bolaños, Pozuelo and Ciudad Imperial.
