The France U18 team beat Spain, who were at home, at Torneo de Calatayud, 64-71, in a preparation match for the category’s EuroBasket, which will take place from July 30 to August 7 in Izmir, Turkey.
The Bleuets were late in the ignition (21-12 after the first quarter), but won the next three.
We note the superior performance of Zacharie Perrin (2.08 m, Antibes) with 18 points (8/9 on shots) and 6 rebounds for 23 evaluation, of Bilal Coulibaly (2.00 m, Levallois) with 9 points and 5 rebounds, and again from Halvine Dzellat-Diakeno (2.07 m, Blois) with 12 points.
The rematch is scheduled for tonight.
