A helicopter property of the Secretariat of the Navy was used to fly in the official mascot of the “Olmecas de Tabasco” baseball team which landed in a stadium in the municipality of Macuspana, where an opening playoff baseball match was held.
Through the stadium’s loudspeakers, they announced the arrival of this special guest. At the match, current Tabasco governor Carlos Manuel Merino Campos, Macuspana mayor Julio Gutiérrez Bocanegra, as well as military authorities were all present.
They use a helicopter from the Secretary of the Navy (@SEMAR_mx) to bring to the stadium the mascot of the Olmecas de Tabasco, the team of the loves of @lopezobrador_.

Navy authorities stated that the purpose of using the helicopter was to make the institution closer to the people.. However, these events have caused many questions. It should be noted that the official baseball Olmecas de Tabasco club’s mascot was escorted by two Navy officers.
The universal states that Ángel “Cuco” stadium better known as “tumbapatos”, has been chosen as the home of the Olmecas de Tabasco team, since it is a centennial park that has been restored by the federal government with a budget of more than $200 million pesos. Construction contracts of the new stadium were given to Tabasco companies; the value of these contracts is $178 million pesos.
During the administration of Adam Augusto Lopez Hernandez as Governor of Tabasco, the team being sold to a private company was discussed. However, the president directly ordered the governor of Tabasco to stop the sale. One should remember that the president is a Macuspana native.
However, this is not the only thing that was news since several social media users criticized how this federal resource was used to carry a baseball team mascot while the city is in the midst of chaos due to violence.
