Tennessee Titans linebacker Bud Dupree pleaded guilty to a minor assault charge on Monday.

The actions of the 29-year-old athlete took place last January, after his team won 34-3 over the Miami Dolphins.
According to court documents, a group of individuals had a verbal argument with an employee of a Nashville pharmacy. They then left the establishment, before returning with Dupree. The footballer grabbed the employee and his phone, which caused a physical altercation.
Admitting his guilt, Dupree avoided jail time. He was instead sentenced to 6 months unsupervised probation and also had to pay $418 in court costs.
This season, the University of Kentucky product is set to play the second season of a five-year, $82.5 million deal. He has 17 tackles, including three quarterback sacks, in 11 games in 2021.
Selected with the 22nd overall pick in the 2015 Entry Draft, Dupree played the first six seasons of his career with the Pittsburgh Steelers.
