The Benetússer City Council, through its Sports area, is once again committed to promoting equal access to sports for boys and girls in the municipality and is doing so by launching a new season of its Sports Schools Municipal. The program, organized in collaboration with the AMPA, has six sports modalities that aim to educate in values associated with camaraderie, effort and teamwork, as well as the creation of healthy lifestyles among minors. Basketball, badminton, judo, five-a-side football, handball or multisport, are the sporting modalities to be chosen by the participants through a registration fee of 60 euros per year “which makes our Schools an accessible activity so that all the children and young people of Benetússer can start in the sports practice of your interest, have fun and stay in shape”, says the Councilor for Sports, Rafael del Río.
The activities, aimed at minors born between 2007 and 2016 who attend primary and secondary school, are planned to be carried out both in the covered pavilion ‘María Pina’ and in the new outdoor courts of the Municipal Sports Center. To carry out the registration, the registration form and the model of responsible declaration by the parents or the guardian of the children must be completed, which can be downloaded from the municipal website www.benetusser.es. To complete the process, the registration fee must be paid, taking into account that the siblings of a registered athlete will only pay 50% of it.
The documentation must be delivered from September 5 to 23 at the Municipal Sports Center facilities from Monday to Saturday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
