The second week of holiday care was themed “nature and the environment”. She started by painting a flower pot, in which cress was then sown. It continued with a scavenger hunt, where the children were allowed to answer questions about the environment. The scavenger hunt led to the Froloo, where the rest of the day was spent.
In addition to a visit to the youth center and further handicraft work, a trip to the guide dog school in Liestal was made at the end of the week. There you could learn a lot about dog training, get to know such a dog and experience for yourself how it can feel to be blind.
