After a brief and disastrous stint in the NFL, Urban Meyer is back on college football broadcasts in the United States. This Friday (19), Fox Sports announced that the former head coach will return to the post of analyst for the show Big Noon Kickoff.
In 2019, a year after announcing his retirement as head coach of Ohio State, Urban Meyer was announced as the headliner of the then-newly-created Big Noon Kickoff. For 2022, the program will have the original bench back. In addition to Meyer, the team consists of presenter Rob Stone and former players Reggie Bush, Brady Quinn and Matt Leinart.
Previously, Meyer had worked as a commentator for ESPN in 2010 after announcing his retirement as head coach for Florida.
Urban Meyer’s re-debut as an analyst will take place on September 1 during week 1 of the 2022 college football season.
