This weekend, in the province of Corrientes, missionary archery was once again well represented by the archers of the CAPRI and AMiTA clubs, who participated in the contest organized by the Asociación Civil Club Social y Deportivo Tiro con Current Arc.
This tournament was held within the framework of a new day of the calendar of the Argentine Archery Federation (FATarco) of a Ranking and Homologative nature in the Free Air modality in all divisions (Long Bow, traditional, Raso, Recurve WA and Compound) in the PAF categories (Arqueros del Futuro Program) implemented this year by the Federation, schools, Senior and +50, starting the race to qualify for the National Final of this modality to be held in Bahía Blanca in the month of December.
Both federated clubs that Misiones has had since this year (CAPRI club with 7 competitors and AMiTA with 13 shooters) met among a total of 51 athletes from the Coastal zone. In addition, archers from Ushuaia participated in a framework of camaraderie, as is customary in this sport. The event was held in the corsodromo of the city of Corrientes, giving rise to the award ceremony in the afternoon.

The archers without much time lag had to calibrate, configure and adjust their bows for a different modality than the one they had been competing in 7 days ago, since this type of tournament is 72 arrows in total and at much greater distances as well as the targets and your score.
