Best Tighnari build in Genshin Impact - weapons, artifacts and more!

From her adorable fennec fox ears to the allure of owning Dendro’s first five-star character to arrive in Genshin Impact, there are plenty of good reasons to shoot for Tighnari. His kit is quite formidable. Even his passive skill is a boon to old and new players alike. Read on to learn how to build this character and maximize his potential.

Tighnari’s Best Weapons

Tighnari will have a five-star weapon designed for him called Hunter’s Path. He will be featured in the weapons banner, while Tighnari is available on the limited characters banner. This may be his best slot weapon if players want to spend Primogems. Other five-star options include the Skyward Harp and the Amos Bow. If players are looking for lower rarity options, The Stringless would work well or Windblume Ode, due to the increased elemental mastery and overall damage.

Artefacts of Tighnari

Although more testing will provide information, the best Tighnari artifacts in slots are likely to be the Deepwood Memories or Gilded Dreams artifact set. Both are available in the new Artifact Realm, Spire of Solitary Enlightenment. Because Dendro’s reactions are still very new, further testing is needed to determine which attributes to focus on and how much. Should you go for a full elemental mastery build or a traditional main DPS build? Not clear. We know that if you prioritize CRIT values, Elemental Mastery, Dendro damage, or at the very least Offense, you won’t hurt Tighnari’s kit.

Tighnari’s style of play

Tighnari was leaked before entering the game as “Dendro Ganyu”. That’s not half a bad description. He is a bow user who deals serious damage with charged shots. At level one, his charged shot will have an infusion of Dendro. But wait until his Charged Shot reaches level two, and it will not only damage Dendro, but also become a Crown Arrow. On hit, a Crown Arrow will create four Clusterbloom Arrows that will track nearby opponents and deal more damage to Dendro. You will see serious results if you focus on increasing this damage.

Tighnari Skills

Khanda Barrier-Buster

  • normal attack
    • Perform up to four consecutive shots with a bow.
  • Charged Attack
    • Perform a more accurate aimed shot with increasing damage.
    • While aiming, Dendro’s power will build up on the arrowhead before the arrow is fired. It has different effects depending on how long the energy has been charged:
      • Charge Level One: Fires an arrow with the power of flora that damages Dendro.
      • Charge Level Two: Fires a crown arrow that damages Dendro. When hit, the Crown Arrow will create four Clusterbloom Arrows that will automatically track nearby opponents and deal damage to Dendro.
  • Diving attack
    • Fires a shower of arrows into the air before falling and hitting the ground, dealing AoE damage on impact.

Elemental Skill: Vijnana-Phala Mine

  • Tighnari launches a Vijnana Stormheart in front which deals AoE Dendro damage and creates a Vijnana-Khanda field.
    • The terrain creates mysterious illusions that taunt opponents and draw their fire.
    • Additionally, Tighnari gains the Vijnana Suffusion effect, which will reduce Garland Arrow charge by 2.4 seconds. This effect will wear off after the skill duration ends or after Tighnari fires three garland arrows.

Elemental Burst: Shaft Tanglevine de Fashioner

  • Combines the power of all Seeds to fire six Tanglevine Shafts that can track opponents and deal damage to Dendro.
    • After hitting, the Tanglevine Shafts will create a secondary wave of Tanglevine Shafts that can also track opponents and deal damage to Dendro on hit.

What you need to climb Tighnari

Leveling him to 90 would be best to maximize his damage. Players will need standard amounts of Nagadus Emerald Coins, Fungal Spores, and 420k Mora. He will also need 168 Lotus Nilotpala, a Sumeru regional specialty, and 46 Majestic Hooked Beaks, which drop from a new field boss, the Jadeplume Terrorshroom.

Tighnari’s Best Teammates

Tighnari is a character who likes to take advantage of Dendro and Electro based reactions, so pair him with other off-screen Electro supporting characters such as Fischl, Yae Miko, or Kuki Shinobu. Collei, a four-star Dendro supporting character, would likely be a good fit for the Dendro resonance.
