CAP 33, see you next year!

In 30 cities, Cap33 juniors (8 to 14 years old) and Cap33 (15 years old and over) provided an opportunity to learn, improve (mini-courses) and compete (tournaments) in various disciplines, all in a relaxed atmosphere.

If Cap 33 offers families a variety of sporting discoveries, Cap 33 junior takes their children out of tablets or consoles to help them occupy the long days of vacation in a different way. For 14 years, Mayor Bruno Lafon and his team have hosted these sporting moments and their friendly evening tournaments in Biganos (Mölkky, badminton, petanque, table tennis.)

Three permanent educators (Arnaud, head of the centre, Cécile and Nirhy), an apprentice trained during the year (Baptiste) and a seasonal worker recruited on CV (Antoine) animated these convivial hours.

More than 3,000 young people

“Despite the heat wave and the very close forest fires forcing us to cancel walking and cycling, more than 3,000 young people followed our activities, announces Nirhy with a broad infectious smile. We had up to 45 children from 8 to 14 years old for the same sport. Archery, canoeing, pétanque were our flagship activities and badminton that of family discovery. In addition to the usual participation of neighboring towns, people from Lyon, Nantes, Paris, Rennes and Tour were added this year. We felt a lot of joy and good humor among these vacationers happy to be there. »
