The Girona Futsal School has signed a collaboration agreement with ElPozo Murcia Costa Cálida Futsal. The agreement between both entities will be for at least one season, until June 2023, and will allow young players from the Girona club to have the opportunity to make the jump to a powerful club such as Murcia, a reference in the field European and national futsal. There is also a friendly in Girona between the seniors of both clubs, games for the Girona base teams in Murcia and training for Girona EFS coaches at the ElPozo Murcia structure.
The two entities will share knowledge and working synergies, especially in the field of grassroots football. The agreement also includes professional teaching collaboration in the design and realization of courses, debates, dissemination and, in general, any other related to physical and sports activity. Joseph Buixeda, president of Girona EFS, explains that “we are very happy to sign this agreement; it’s the first time we’ve done it at the club and it will raise our level in all areas. The main point of this agreement is that the players from our squad can go to ElPozo Murcia for the tests».
This agreement is part of the project of the new Girona EFS board, which was renewed at the beginning of the summer. The contacts with ElPozo Murcia arose as a result of a conversation between the president of Girona, Josep Buixeda, a businessman with a past in the world of meat, with the main sponsor of the Murcia club, which is in the food sector.
