Basic strokes
The basic strokes in badminton involve hitting the shuttlecock with power and aiming it at the opponent’s back court. These shots are often used when players need to take control of the game by making the opponent change positions. They are generally executed in a variety of ways and are aimed at catching the opponent off guard and taking control of the game.
Service
A service in badminton is a shot used to start the play or rally. The player who serves must be on the right side of the court, and the person who receives the service must be on the opposite side.
Netshot
The net shot is a powerful offensive shot that can be a game-winner or rally-finisher. It is used as part of the attack and in-between face, and can be performed with the backhand or forehand. The goal of the shot is to maximize the shuttle’s power.
Lets
Badminton is a sport played between two people. The game is played on a badminton court, where the shuttles are alternated. A let is called when a shuttle lands on the court and then needs to be played again by the receiving player. The rules for this sport are described in the BWF Badminton Laws.
Speed of shots
