Leipzig brings Rose, his starting program is brutal

RB Leipzig announced the dismissal of coach Tedesco on Wednesday. The morning after, the club already presented the successor. The solution with Marco Rose was obvious. Three really special games await him.
RasenBallsport Leipzig has signed Marco Rose as the new coach. Rose follows Domenico Tedesco, who was released on Wednesday, and will receive a contract until June 2024, as the cup winner announced on Thursday. Rose is already leading his first training session on Thursday. He brings along Alexander Zickler, Frank Geideck and Marco Kurth as assistant coaches
This solution was obvious, as Rose grew up as a coach in the Red Bull cosmos. Between 2013 and 2019 he worked for the company branch in Salzburg, first as a youth coach and then as head coach.
After that, Rose coached Borussia from Mönchengladbach and Dortmund. At BVB he was only released in the summer and replaced by Edin Terzic. Ironically, Leipzig’s next two opponents in the Bundesliga are Dortmund and Mönchengladbach.
BVB, Real, Gladbach…
Rose’s brutal starting program looks like this: Saturday Bundesliga game against BVB, Wednesday away in the Champions League at Real Madrid, then Saturday away in Mönchengladbach.
After a false start to the season, cup winners Leipzig soon lost patience with Tedesco, who just a few months ago had led the team to victory in the DFB Cup and thus to the first title in the club’s history. But just five points from five games and the 4-1 defeat against Donetsk in the Champions League on Tuesday cost the coach his job.
Rose is Leipzig’s eleventh coach since the club was founded in 2009, with Ralf Rangnick and Achim Beierlorzer twice calling the shots on the sidelines. For a long time, Rose, who lives in a suburb of Leipzig, had an ambivalent relationship with an engagement in his native town. “I want my daughter to be able to go to school without it being an issue of whether dad won or lost at the weekend,” said Rose, who was in a relationship with ex-handball player Nicola Pietzsch, in 2019 of the “Mitteldeutsche Zeitung”.
Rose now not only lives at home in Leipzig, but will almost certainly meet an old acquaintance again soon. The club is currently working on Max Eberl’s commitment as the new sports director. The duo Rose/Eberl was already responsible for sporting success in Gladbach before the coach moved on to Dortmund.
