France Football has decided to distribute another award in 2020. If it is not going to hand over the traditional Golden Ball given to the best player of the last season, considering that the calendar has been hampered by the coronavirus pandemic, the magazine will elect the 11 best players in the world in Everytime. This is what the publication revealed when it announced the Ballon d’Or Dream Team this Monday.

France Football has already announced the first nominees for the award in four positions: goalkeeper, right-back, defender and left-back. They will compose the defensive system of a team to be formed in 3-4-3. The list has seven Brazilians, all full-backs: Cafu, Carlos Alberto Torres and Djalma Santos on the right, in addition to Júnior, Marcelo, Nilton Santos and Roberto Carlos on the left.

The nominees for the other positions will come out on the next Mondays. On the 12th, it will be the turn of the midfielders and midfielders – two will be chosen each. On the 19th, France Football will decide who will compete for the right winger, center forward and left winger awards.

The election will be determined through the votes of 170 journalists selected by France Football, with the “Dream Team” being unveiled in December. The magazine also opened a poll on its website for readers to participate.
