Ohtani (12-8) was called out with a blister in his hand after allowing one run and six hits on his 79-pitch outing at Minute Maid Park. The double star stayed to strike and finished 0 for 4.
Ohtani knocked seven times and walked twice. Mike Trout scored for a franchise-record sixth straight game, extending the Angels’ lead to 5-1 in the second inning with a three-shot left shot.
