The Korea Sports Association (Chairman Ki-heung Lee) finally selected a total of 36 winning works from the ‘Life Sports Sports 7330 Experience Handwriting Contest’, which was conducted to promote the Sports 7330 campaign and the value of daily life sports.
From June 1 to July 31, the Korea Sports Association held a contest for all the people to write about life sports experiences in the with and post-corona era. For the first time, the N-line poetry section was newly established, and works were also accepted for various suggested words related to life sports.
A total of 1655 submissions were received, including 407 handwriting essays and 1248 N-line poems. The final award winners were selected through a judging committee composed of experts according to the internal judging criteria such as subject suitability, on-the-spotness, and originality.
In the general section of the handwriting section, ‘Mother’s Spring Day with Line Dance (Seo Hyun-jung)’ was selected as the grand prize. The grand prize winner will receive a prize of 1.5 million won along with the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Award. In addition, 2 top prizes, 3 excellent prizes, and 10 encouragement prizes were selected for the Korea Sports Council Award.
In the Children’s and Youth Division, ‘Magic Gate Opened by Badminton (Choi Seo-yeon)’ was selected as the grand prize. In addition, 1 first prize, one excellent prize, and one encouragement prize will be given different gift certificates according to their ranking.
The newly established N-hang city category will be awarded the Korea Sports President’s Award. ‘My lively mother is badminton, my active and cheerful father is table tennis, I enjoy all sports because I have good physical strength, and my family (Seoheon) who is physically and mentally healthy’ was selected as the grand prize. Gift certificates will also be awarded to 2 first prize winners, 3 excellent prize winners, and 10 incentive prize winners according to their ranking.
The judging committee said, “The establishment of the N line poetry section was a good attempt to induce more participation in the contest. In the with and post-corona era, it well expressed the value of health that can be obtained through exercise as well as the joy of living sports.”
The winning works of the contest will be presented through the SNS channel of the Korea Sports Council and will be used through various promotional media.
