Crisis Oktoberfest? Bayern stars celebrate at the Oktoberfest

Ironically, at the start of the Wiesn, things are brewing at FC Bayern. After four winless Bundesliga games in a row, the Munich team are in their first crisis of the new season. Despite the current situation, the FCB stars insisted on partying at the Oktoberfest last weekend.

“Basically, I don’t want to,” stressed Julian Nagelsmann after the 1-0 defeat against FC Augsburg when asked about Bayern’s visit to the Oktoberfest. According to the 35-year-old, going to the Munich Oktoberfest was “pointless” after the first defeat of the season. However, a cancellation of the obligatory date was never up for debate at FC Bayern – also because the people of Munich have corresponding obligations to their sponsors.

Nagelsmann didn’t seem really happy yesterday, Sunday, when he and his partner came to visit the team. The expressions of Oliver Kahn and Hasan Salihamidzic also seemed tormented rather than exuberant.

Party kings Davies and Hernandez

The Bayern players, on the other hand, were in a much better mood. As the “Münchner Abendzeitung” reports, some stars continued to celebrate in the Käfer tent after the end of the official part. Among them are said to have been the German internationals Manuel Neuer, Joshua Kimmich, Leon Goretzka and Serge Gnabry. According to the “AZ” reporter Maximilian Koch, Alphonso Davies and Lucas Hernandez in particular turned out to be real “party kings”.
