FESBA sets a precedent for the future of sport in general and badminton in particular through its agreement with the Spanish company LEVERADE, technological provider of the Federation and the one in charge of implementing blockchain technology to make possible the delivery of these trophies and medals. .
The IBERDROLA Women’s Club Cup
The Spanish Badminton Federation (FESBA) is organizing the IBERDROLA Cup for Women’s Clubs this weekend as an activity linked to the Women’s Universe project of the Youth Sports Foundation of the Higher Sports Council.
The objective of this competition is to continue promoting an environment of competition and learning within badminton where meetings and multidisciplinary talks of women linked to sport serve to encourage the development of women in all levels of society.
More than 90 players from 12 different clubs will participate in the IBERDROLA Women’s Club Cup: Rinconada Badminton Club, Soria Badminton Club, Associació Granollers Esportiva, Recreativo Ies La Orden, Huesca Badminton Club, Alicante Badminton Club, Athlos Club, As Neves Badminton Club, Astures Badminton, San Fernando Valencia Badminton Club, Ravachol Pontevedra Badminton Club and Oviedo Badminton Club.
The fact that the championship is played in a team competition format aims to enhance the personal relationships of the participating players in parallel with their teammates in order to strengthen cooperative relationships between them and as a way of making visible, also, the role of the woman in society.
