With such a new belt color, a certain number of training units must be attended and a practical exam and a theory part must be passed.
A belt test in judo is always contested with a training partner. The different techniques have to be rehearsed and practiced in pairs. An exam can only be successful if the team works.
In the Dojo Balgach, 29 judokas were able to celebrate their passed exams. Dean Lüchinger, Jed Belazi, Giogio Keller, Lina Ender, Leonardo Lenretti, Rafael Terac Garcia, Liam Von Gunten, Christoph Zünd, Leana Nüesch and Ramon Nüesch achieved the half-yellow belt.

Denis Evdokimov, Yury Molodtsov, Fabio Nageli, Roberto Rubelli, Iven Lippold and Jano Ender passed the yellow belt test. Jan Gerber, Manuel Fischli, Florin Gorceag, Timo Helbling, Simon Zimmermann, Juri Herter, Diego Klauser, Daniel Sonnenstein, Jan Keller and Matthias Müller can now wear the orange belt. Helena Zäch, Noah Giovanon and Marius Schlickeiser mastered the demanding test for the green belt.
The team of trainers of the Rheintal Judo and Ju-Jitsu Club is very satisfied with the performance on the exam days. And it is pleased with the technical advances, the personal developments and the formation of the team spirit among the many young judokas.
A year ago, the association successfully launched the “Judo in the Village” project. Now twelve judokas in Au successfully mastered their first belt test. The following judokas passed the half-yellow belt: Mia Sägesser, Letizia Calderara, Nik Lehmann, Ella Stary, Cyrill Schmid, Gian Reichert, Julia and Alexander Hartmann, Alen Lidan, Phil Höfer, Jorin Schläpfer and Elias Müller.
