BOLASPORT.COM – The 2022 Junior World Championship is an opportunity for young Indonesian badminton players to hone themselves in the highest level of competition.

A total of 20 men’s and women’s players will depart for the 2022 World Junior Championships which will be held in Santander, Spain, on 17-30 October 2022.

Indonesia came with the status of defending champion in the mixed team number after bringing home the Suhandinata Cup in the last edition in Kazan, Russia, in 2019.

In the last appearance, Indonesia was also quite successful in the individual events with gold medals in men’s doubles and silver medals in women’s doubles and mixed doubles.

Hope to achieve no less good achievements will be carried this year.

A number of young players who will compete are not completely blind to the atmosphere of the BWF major level competition.

In women’s singles, for example, there is Ester Nurumi Tri Wardoyo or Tasya Farahnailah who has been called to strengthen the Uber Indonesia Team.

In addition, there is also new ammunition for PBSI Pelatnas from the National Selection which took place last January.

They are Muhammad Reza Al Fajri (men’s singles) and Mutiara Ayu Puspitasari (women’s singles) in the singles sector.
