During his speech, Jean Michel Ramaroson, president of the FMBB, explained the importance of the training camp for young people and this is the second edition for this year.

Fly to Senegal

“This training camp will transform your life if you know how to take advantage of this training, if you get involved. You represent your country’s basketball and you represent Africa, make friends and be proud. This is an opportunity to learn basketball,” he added. This camp is of capital importance because it allows young people to acquire new experiences and contributes to the reinforcement of technical and personal capacities. Because Madagascar hosted this second edition of the training camp for young people, jointly with Morocco and Senegal, 12 young Malagasy girls had the chance to be present during this regional training camp. Later, two young Malagasy girls and a female coach will fly to Senegal to attend the same camp from October 18 to 20. They are Joanie Anyssa Rakotonanahary, Taratriniaina Muriel Erica Ramahatra and Malala coach Malalatiana Razazarohavana. For the Mahamasina Sports Palace camp, Nanou Rakotoniaina, a young basketball player, cannot hide her joy. She said she was really delighted and very happy to be present. “It’s a dream come true. In addition, I received a very nice piece of equipment that I love,” she concludes.
