Saint-Dizier basket, with only seven players on the score sheet, exploded in flight, Saturday, October 8, on the ground of the reserve of Awakening Récy Saint-Martin, co-leader of the championship. The first ten minutes are contested and the SDB, led by long-range shots from Yanis Becker and Simon André and baskets from Alexis Le Gall, Benjamin Schauss, Thibaut Caque and Karim Mokhnache, stand up to their opponent (25-22) .
Saint-Dizier collapses
Aladine Mhoumadi’s men cracked in the second quarter by conceding 32 points… while scoring only eight units, including three free throws from Benjamin Schauss (57-30). On resumption, it’s hard for the Bragards physically with a certain lack of rotation compared to the locals.
Yanis Becker and Thibaut Caque fueled the brand but Récy Saint-Martin chained the baskets (87-54). The last quarter was just as delicate and Alexandre Forgeard’s teammates fought as best they could but logically fell (113-69).
