The “Cambuur” of Leuwarden, represented by the striker of the Latvian national football team, Roberta Uldrikis, suffered a loss in the Dutch championship game on Saturday. “Cambuur” lost 0:3 (0:1) to Arnhem “Vitesse” at home.
Uldrikis went to the starting line-up and was replaced in the 63rd minute. Ryan Flamingo scored a goal in the 20th minute, Kaspers Kozlovskis doubled the difference in the 74th minute, and Sondre Tronstads made it 3-0 in the 82nd minute.
“Cambuur” is in 15th place with eight points after ten games, accumulating the same balance as today’s opponent, which is one position lower. Last season, the team represented by Uldriķas took ninth place in the Dutch Superleague in the competition of 18 teams. The Latvian forward scored seven goals in 21 games, but this season he is yet to hit a goal.
