Passion & Sport – Inde bumped into Parque in debut

Stumble of Independiente BBC in the debut of the Argentine Basketball League. The Santiago team lost to Club Barrio Parque (Córdoba), 84/58, at the start of the North Conference. Juan Manuel Bejar with 20 points (2 singles, 3 doubles and 4 triples) was the top scorer for Parque and the match, while Emiliano Correa with 15 points was the top scorer for the local team. The Verdel del Sur enjoyed a great start taking a 27 to 11, with an intense defense and an effective attack in the first quarter, to then regulate and manage that difference.

From then on everything was even; in the second boy they tied at 16 to go into the break down, 43/27, with that advantage of 16 points that the cast from Cordoba had taken at the beginning.

At the restart of the game, Parque had a drop in offensive performance, but continued to work well on defense, making Independiente unable to get close.

Now Independent will receive on Thursday GEPU from San Luis; while Barrio Parque will be presented again this Monday at 9:00 p.m. visiting Balsuar Central de Ceres, in the province of Santa Fe.
