This weekend the CEF 7 teams left for the city of Neuquén to play the 3×3 provincial basketball finals in the u14 and u16 categories, achieving important results.
As part of Neuquén Juega, this Saturday and Sunday the 3×3 basketball teams of CEF 7 moved to the city of Neuquén in the U16 categories with the women’s team and U14 with the men’s and women’s teams, the latter being the local team that managed to dispute the final instance of the contest.
The female U14 integrated the zone with Caviahue, Rincón de los Sauces, and Oeste de Neuquén, in which they made it to the semifinals and faced San Martín de los Andes. In a vibrant match, the girls dominated the match and reached the final stage.
Taking into account that in the 3×3 basketball modality only two teams from each zone qualify, in the last instance they faced the Rincón de los Sauces team, and in a very tough match for the title, the rival team was left with the victory and secured a place in the Evita Games by the minimum difference of one point.
For its part, the U14 men’s team had a difficult stop against the experienced teams in the area and could not advance to the phase, while the U16 women’s team faced the decisive match with Oeste de Neuquén with victory in their favor.
“We thank the Secretary of Sport of the Municipality of VLA and the direction of CEF 7 for the steps taken to be able to travel,” they said from the institution.
