Competition Penitentiary Police 2022, Announcement, Requirements and Application
A public competition was recently launched for the recruitment of 5 Paralympic athletes to be included in the Blue Flames Paralympic Section of the Penitentiary Police Corps. This announcement is aimed at Paralympic athletes with physical or sensory disabilities, who will be included within the Italian Paralympic Committee (CIP) in the “Club Italia Paralympic or those who still obtain the recognition of Paralympic athletes thanks to the national interest from the aforementioned Committee or from the Reference sports federations. The places will be divided as follows;
- 1 place in the male role: discipline: Nordic skiing; specialty: “Long distance, Middle distance, Sprint”; disability category: Sitting;
4 positions in the female role, of which:
– n. 1 discipline place: judo; specialty: + 70 Kg; disability category: J2;
– n. 1 discipline place: swimming; specialties: 100 meters butterfly, 100 backstroke meters, 100 freestyle meters; disability category: S12 / S13;
– n. 1 discipline place: swimming; specialty: 100 meters back; 200m, mixed, 400m freestyle, 50m freestyle; disability category: S8 / SM8;
– n. 1 place for archery discipline; specialty: Compound open; disability category: W2.
REQUIREMENTS
In order to participate in the call, candidates must meet the following requirements;
- Italian citizenship;
- enjoyment of civil and political rights;
- having turned 17 and not having turned and therefore exceeded 35 years;
- possess the moral and conduct qualities;
- lower secondary education diploma;
- be included by the Italian Paralympic Committee in the “Paralympic Club Italia” or be recognized Paralympic athletes of national interest by the aforementioned Committee, or by the sports Federations of reference, in the discipline for which they are competing;
- suitability for competitive sporting activity referring to the sport for which it is competing;
- physical, mental and aptitude suitability for the prison police service.
Candidates who are not admitted to the announcement are those who have been deposed from a job in a public administration, or those who have suffered a prison sentence for a non-culpable crime, or those who have been subjected to a preventive measure.
SELECTION
Candidates will be selected through an evaluation of their qualifications and a medical examination to ascertain their psycho-physical suitability and must present themselves with;
- valid identification document;
- certificate of fitness for competitive sporting activity referring to the discipline for which it is competing, bearing a date not earlier than thirty days from the date of submission to the assessments;
- anamnestic certificate completed by the attending physician with relative stamp and signature according to the attached facsimile.
