– The Baja California State Badminton Association continues its work for the CONADE 2023 TIJUANA Nationals qualifiers.- With a total of 133 participants gathered in the Multi-Use Gym of the Tijuana High Performance Center, the 2022 Open Badminton Promotional Tournament was held a few days ago, endorsed by the Baja California State Association. The competition was held in a marathon day that consisted of more than 22 games until the best players from the six participating categories were drawn, five in singles and one in doubles, gathered in eight courts and two warm-up areas. The games were held from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., in a system of competition of all against all in the group phase, classifying the best two of each sector, with a half-hour rest and continuing the competition until 9:00 p.m. Among the participating teams were UABC, CAR Tijuana, CAR Ensenada, Los Angeles Center Court, Centro Deportivo Bancario, Little Castle School, CAR Tijuana Archery and parents from Tijuana. Among the participants, the presence of medalists in the past CONADE Nationals stood out, such as Gael Velázquez, Camila Morales, Mariana Quezada and Roberto Quezada, to mention just a few.
