the objectives of World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC) Europe are: a) To promote, develop and control baseball and softball and all related disciplines and formats of these sports within its geographical boundaries, ensuring compliance WBSC and WBSC Europe. b) Approve and implement its own rules and regulations and ensure that they are in accordance with the statutes of WBSC and WBSC Europe. c) Apply, with their geographical limits, the specific aspects and other duties and responsibilities of registered members in the statutes of WBSC Europe. d) To authorize, organize and control, with the prior approval of WBSC, continental, regional and sub-regional tournaments and competitions, including continental, regional and sub-regional multi-sport events, with the exception of championships and related events to qualifying for the Olympic Games, which remains the sole jurisdiction and authority of WBSC. e) To promote, sponsor and, if necessary, found the organizations deemed necessary for the best development and operation of Baseball-Softball throughout Europe. f) Form partnerships, cooperations or mergers with other interested parties in order to favor the promotion and development of Baseball-Softball in Europe. g) Collaborate with WBSC to coordinate and support WBSC actions in the Europe region. h) Resolve any dispute which may arise between, party to or involving Member Federations, Associations and Organizations, including disputes between, among or involving any individual Athlete or Official, which is submitted to WBSC Europe by an Interested Party, and provide for recognition and uniform application of disciplinary procedures. i) Establish, organize and manage training, qualification and development programs for athletes, administrators, coaches, managers, referees, scorekeepers, technicians and any other official. j) Carry out studies and surveys and promote and organize seminars, workshops, conferences and other events for the improvement and development of Baseball-Softball throughout Europe. k) Establish, collect or cause to be collected and approve and maintain statistics, statistical compilations and records for access via the website and elsewhere. l) Carry out any other activity that the Executive Board deems advisable to promote and/or develop the sports of baseball and softball and all related disciplines and formats of this sport. m) Fully respect the Olympic Charter and the WBSC Statutes and contribute to the achievement of their objectives. n) Promote clean sport, fight against doping through prevention and education and adhere to the World Anti-Doping Code. o) To cooperate with the Olympic Movement and WBSC to promote, implement and achieve these objectives, to preserve and guarantee the interests of WBSC Europe and WBSC and its member federations, associations and organisations, and to support and maintain the ideals of the Olympic Movement in all aspects of Baseball-Softball. p) Promote continental baseball and softball rankings in accordance with the WBSC ranking methodology at various levels, including for all continental, regional and sub-regional baseball and softball competitions. q) Comply with relevant law and other applicable laws, including data privacy.
