A return to normal for the Sport-Tribute Gala

SHAWINIGAN. After two years in a virtual format, the Gala Sport-homage Desjardins de la Mauricie is back in person and the event will be held on January 14 at Espace Shawinigan to reward athletes from the region as well as people who get involved in different ways for sports.

No less than 21 Desjardins trophies will be awarded during this evening, the honorary co-chairmanship of which was awarded to Denis Guay, director of the Caisse Desjardins du Centre-de-la-Mauricie and to Georges Larivière, researcher and seasoned speaker around the world. sport who is a native of Cap-de-la-Madeleine.

A new formula Tapis Rouge Trois-Rivières Mitsubishi wines and cheeses will be put forward for the occasion, in collaboration with Quebec milk producers.

The presentation of prizes and trophies will begin at 5:30 p.m. Tickets for the event can be purchased online.

Trophies will be awarded in different categories: athlete from Quebec, national, international, senior and with a disability, coaches par excellence, official of the next generation, volunteers par excellence, teams par excellence, event par excellence, hat tricks and commemorative tributes will be unveiled. in addition to crowning the two athletes of the year.
