The end of hopes for Levet at the final of the PGA Tour Champions cards

PGA Tour Champions, Finale, Tour 3

Too far in the standings despite a second consecutive under-par card, Thomas Levet will play this Friday evening the last round of the final of the access card test to the American senior circuit without hope of winning one of the 5 qualifying places.

The 3 birdies and the two bogeys of Thomas Livet Thursday on the course of the TPC Scottsdale in Arizona will not allow the French to maintain the slim hope of finishing the 72 holes of the selective in the top 5 of the classification and thus of obtaining a right to play on the PGA Tour Champions.

Insurmountable delay

Still 60th in the standings at +3 total, he is 15 strokes behind the 4 players in 2nd place at -12.

In the lead it was the American Fran Quinn who took the lead. This 57-year-old player made headlines last June by becoming the oldest player in history to qualify for the US Open 30 years after his first participation!
