Ministry of Economy holds a friendly basketball match among its collaborators

The Los Azules quintet prevailed before Los Rojos with an annotation of 61 points out of 55 goals, a basketball activity organized by the Basketball League of the Ministry of Economy.

The sporting activity is part of the acts of the celebrations of the Christmas holidays.

In the meeting, held at the Club San Carlos sports center, the participation of Administrative Vice Minister Yamel Valera, who was an important piece in bringing together the players, counted as an added value.

Martínez said that the Ministry of Economy permanently develops sports activities in various branches, such as volleyball, chess, dominoes, softball and basketball.

“And it is that, Christmas is a time to search for each other, to unite, to complete affections and in the league we pursue that spirit that moves humanity,” Víctor Martínez said.

“On this occasion and on the occasion of Christmas, once again the employees meet in this Club San Carlos sports center, to maintain the love of sport and develop our friendship, which is very necessary in these times.”

He explained that on this occasion only two teams participated, since most of the players had special commitments and for the tournament to be carried out in an agile and harmonious manner, it was decided to choose only two teams.

In the Blue team’s victory, the best were Daniel Moreno who scored 20 points, followed by Vladimir Brito with 18 points and Dennis Richard with 9 goals.

For the Red team defeated, the best were Charly García with 22 points, Ángel de la Rosa with 12 goals, among others.

From now on, the executive committee of the Mepyd League is preparing to participate in other activities on behalf of the Ministry of Economy, Planning and Development and thus maintain cohesion among the collaborators of this government entity.
