Finally a derby: Against Zug, the Spono Eagles are clear favorites for once

Nottwil concludes the handball year with the home game against Zug. If Carmen Jund has her way, the opponent will be tackled hard.

They played judo together as children, later they went their separate ways: Matthias Jund now pushes his opponents in the sawdust on their backs, the 23-year-old won his first wreath at the Zug Cantonal Wrestling Festival last year, and he is now a four-time Eichenlaub winner. Meanwhile, his sister Carmen, who is also strongly built, tackles her opponents hard in handball – the 20-year-old plays for none other than the Swiss champions, the Spono Eagles from Nottwil. “I’ve always liked toughness and duels,” assures the winger.
