Gaverlings choose their own name for the new sports hall: “We heat with water from the nearby Scheldt” (Gavere)

The first stones of the new Gaverse sports hall in the Sportdreef have been laid. At the beginning of September 2023, the Gaverlingen will be able to exercise, eat and relax in and around the brand new complex. What will it be called? The Gaverlings decide that themselves. “Inhabitants will soon be able to submit name proposals themselves,” said sports alderman Dirk Martens (CD&V).
