After thirty-six hours of waiting and communion, the Porteno people were finally able to pay tribute to the Argentine world champions on Tuesday in the streets of Buenos Aires.

They had taken to the streets as soon as the final whistle sounded, Sunday, December 18, after a frappadingue final. Frappadingues, the celebrations of the Argentine victory at the World Cup were just as much in the streets of Buenos Aires. The madness was still present in the capital on Tuesday when the players and their captain Lionel Messi arrived, consecrated among the best players in history alongside Pelé and Diego Maradona.
