In San Bartolomeo al Mare the witch, or rather the witches, will arrive from the sea aboard a series of kayaks and with the accompaniment of the Alassio band.
After Santa Claus, the Befana will also arrive by sea this year with an event organized by Top Kayak
The appointment is for tomorrow, January 5, at 11.30 when an army of witches will move aboard colorful kayaks on the stretch of water in front of the Lungomare delle Nazioni.
The seafront will also be festive on Friday 6 January, when the colorful cars of the 500 Club Golfo Dianese will position themselves displaying their original nativity scenes created inside the vehicles. A jury will evaluate the cribs and establish first, second and third prizes by virtue of originality, difficulty of realization and transmitted message and the showman Paolo Bianco will enliven the afternoon, starting at 14.00.
At the end of the Christmas festivities calendar of San Bartolomeo al Mare on 5 and 6 January the 30th Epiphany Trophy will be held at the municipal gymnasium, an archery competition valid for qualifying for the Italian indoor championships. On Saturday 7 January, however, the Centro Sociale Incontro will host the concert by Diego Genta and Kloi Malaj. The concert is free admission, open to all and will begin at 15.30. The protagonists will be Maestro Diego Genta, a graduate in piano at the G. Verdi Conservatory in Turin and Kloi Malaj, a very young Dianese awarded five times at the International Golden Oak Competition in San Bartolomeo al Mare.
