A chemical reaction that has begun to cause big ripples
1st, 2nd to 5th day game against Tokyo Haneda, where they lost to the opponent’s momentum and fell behind, and the victory or defeat was decided by the widening point difference.
The Queen Beads got off to a safe start and progressed the match while sharing the time with the four early entries, but in the first half alone they committed 11 turnovers, seven more than Hitachi High-Tech, making it difficult to ride out the wave.
However, while the accuracy of Hitachi High-Tech’s shots did not improve, they considered defensive rebounds and returned the first half with a 6-point difference of 22-28.
In the second half, they struggled with their offensive rebounds, but they were saved by a mistake by Hitachi High-Tech. The game ended at 54-58, allowing another reversal.
Unfortunately, they lost by 4 points.
Looking at the box score, looking only at the second half, which was six points behind, Hitachi High-Tech scored 30 points, while Queen Bees scored 32 points, which is higher than Hitachi High-Tech.
Where is the factor that could not catch up with 4 points difference?
In his post-game discourse, head coach Kaneko Kanji lamented, “In the second half, during the defensive rebound, I was a ball watcher and was slow to hit the ball.” And Moeno Oka and Manami Wakahara also gave “defensive rebound” as a cause of defeat.
In the first half, Queen Bees’ defensive rebounds exceeded Hitachi High-Tech’s offensive rebounds by 17, but in the second half, Hitachi High-Tech exceeded 7, giving the opponent an opportunity to attack.
It was regrettable that the offensive rebound in the second half was delayed, as it was 40 minutes that passed without each other being able to seize the opportunity to separate the other party.
Consecutive games with Hitachi High-Tech are two important games on the star count
How will we make a comeback in the second round tomorrow?
I would like to expect that the chemical reaction that has begun to occur will create even greater ripples in the second race tomorrow.
Tomorrow’s game is toss-up at 16:30
Thank you for your continued support.
Head coach/player talk
Kanji Kaneko Head Coach
regrettable
It was a wasteful game
I regret not being able to continue boxing out defensive rebounds for 40 minutes.
The offense was not able to communicate with each other, and it was not possible to attack as an organization.
It might have been better to attack with a little more individual power.
The harvest that four early entry players were able to participate in the game
In the match, I would like to find out the cause of the team’s inability to decide, and prepare for tomorrow by improving my condition.
Captain Moeno Oka
There weren’t many matches that I could get through with a member change, so in that sense it was good.
A rebound at the point of victory. Even if it’s out of the box, it’s tough if everyone doesn’t go and get the ball that flies outside.
I don’t think we will be able to shoot as well as we did today, so we will have to figure out how to attack that.
Hitachi High-Tech was run from the defense rebound and took the flow.
On the contrary, if we can do that, the flow will come.
I wanted to win today, but I can aim tomorrow.
Tomorrow’s match will be a very meaningful match, and I want to win against Hitachi High-Tech tomorrow.
Manami Wakahara
I wanted to win.
We lost to Haneda last week, and if we don’t win two games here, the playoffs will be tough, so I entered the match with a sense of tension.
The part that didn’t reach the end is rebound.
While the early entry players are also standing on the court, I regret that I could pull more in my play.
i knew i could fight
Voice to win, I want to try to play.
Debut of the league match Conversation of four early entries
#1 Ammor Preet Call
I think I could have done more with the playing time I was given. I haven’t been able to show my strengths yet, so I’ll do my best to make sure that I can show my strengths in tomorrow’s match.
#2 Saki Ikeda
First W League
I was very nervous, but my seniors talked to me a lot and I was able to play happily. Personally, I have a lot of things to reflect on in this match, but I will do my best to change my mind and contribute to the team’s victory tomorrow.
#22 Miyoshi blue and white
I stood on the court thinking about connecting the baton in a short playing time, but I still didn’t have enough places to say my best.
I want to be conscious of the details and extend my playing time.
#3 Saki Shimizu
It’s my first stage, and I haven’t been able to show my power yet.
I want to do my best aggressively like a freshman so that I can contribute to the team.
