National badminton. Rostrenen (B) – Ferns: 6-2; Saint-Brieuc – Bay Union: 7-1

The Costamoricans did not tremble against the last of their group. The Rostrenois reserve of N2, which had to do without the services of Célia Frassin called to evolve in Top, raised its head by winning Fougères 6-2.

Julie Grall, Yann Bourhis and Nils Tostivint have had their fill of victories in singles and doubles. “We played our role as favourites. It is a sign of encouragement and a hope to try to achieve a stoppage in Flume-Ille, in two weeks” reported captain Coline Sibéril.

In N3, Saint-Brieuc confirms its series of five games without defeat (three wins, two draws). The Briochins beat Union de la Baie 7-1. “All the meetings were played in two sets” relates Matthieu Trividic “Our group has the possibility of making a blow to Flume-ille on February 25 and inflicting its first defeat on it” notes the captain.

Martin Bellot, Trividic, Maëlys Lemarchand, Lily Gautier were imperial in singles, just like Marco Marie who was associated in doubles with Bellot and in mixed Gautier. “We gave ourselves two to three years to go up to N2” underlines Stanislas Raud. “This current second place confirms our ambitions”.
