Six athletes from Longueuil and Brossard are currently in Prince Edward Island to participate in the Canada Winter Games, which take place from February 18 to March 5

In badminton, we find Heidi Chon from Longueuil, who practices at the Club International Montréal, as well as Samantha Hui, from Brossard, who trains with the Carabins of the Université de Montréal.

The hockey player of the Riverains of Charles-Lemoyne College Philippe Veilleux, who resides in Brossard, has carved out a place for himself on the Quebec hockey team.

Still on the ice, Longueuil resident Émilie Proulx will take part in the figure skating dance events. She trains at the Boucherville Figure Skating Club.

Another South Shore athlete is Brossard epeeist Hélèna Tran, who practices at the Center d’escrime excellence.

Moreover, Longueuil resident Xavier Lefebvre will try to excel in cross-country skiing. (A.D.)
