Cus Foggia is preparing the team which will participate in the next National University Championships to be held in Camerino from 17 to 25 June 2023. The most important event in the field of university sport, called by the Italian Federation of University Sport (FederCUSI) and organized with the collaboration of the University Sports Centers ( Cus) and the National Sports Federations (Fsn). The selections are open to all university competitive athletes who have distinguished themselves in the following disciplines:
Individual sports – athletics, judo, karate, wrestling, fencing, taekwondo, tennis, table tennis.
Team sports – men’s soccer, men’s futsal, men’s basketball, men’s and women’s volleyball, men’s rugby sevens.
Optional sports – basketball 3×3 (M and F), beach volleyball (M and F), women’s futsal, mountain biking, road cycling, women’s basketball, chess, archery, table football, tug of war.
REQUIREMENTS
The participation ai CNU 2023 is reserved for athletes of any nationality as long as they were born between 1 January 1995 and 31 December 2005. They must be enrolled in a course of study (three-year degree, master’s degree, single-cycle degree, specialization diploma, research doctorate, 1st and 2nd level master), as required by art. 3 of the DM 22/10/2004 n. 270, at an Italian university recognized by the Ministry of University and Research, as well as at the Academies of Fine Arts and State-recognized Music Conservatories, provided they possess a secondary school diploma, or graduated in the year calendar for the National University Championships.
The interested students to be part of the CUS Foggia team they can send, no later than April 7, 2023your application with your sports curriculum to the e-mail address [email protected].
The selected athletes must present the following documents: 1) Copy of the valid competitive medical certificate; 2) Self-certification proving enrollment at the University as long as it is downloaded from the web (Esse3 Unifg page) and clearly and unambiguously containing personal data, matriculation number and faculty. Graduates will have to present the degree certificate; 3) Completed CUS membership form; 4) Authorization from the sports club to which he belongs (where provided for by the regulation of the single discipline); 5) Copy of identity document.
THE DEBUT
First challenge for the Cussina team already next week with the basketball team, included in group H with CUS Lecce. Outward match in Foggia on 27 February and return to Lecce on 13 March. In case of victory, CUS Foggia will face CUS Bari in the second phase (first leg April 17 to Bari and return May 8). The winner will play the final phase in Camerino.
