Former NBA and former Louisville Felton Spencer dies at 55

Sad news for the entire NBA family and for the world of basketball: Felton Spencer He has passed away at the age of 55. The former from Louisville entered the NBA in 1990 and stayed in it for 12 seasons playing in 6 teams.

Shock over the early death of Spencer, a 2.13 center who exhausted his 4 college courses at Louisville to be selected 6th overall in the 1990 draft after averaging 14.9 points in his final year in the NCAA, 8.5 rebounds and 2 blocks.

Felton Spencer played 134 games for Loisville, the university of his hometown, and then played 640 in the NBA in the regular season and 36 in the playoffs.

He played for the Timberwolves, Jazz, Warriors, Magic, Spurs and Knicks, averaging 5.2 points and 5.4 rebounds in the regular season, and starting 404 of the 640 games he played.
