Alex Lefranc, young testerin judoka, qualifies for the French Cadet Championships!
After Fatou Dione, Kyara Lequarré and Romain Chappard, selected for the French Minimes Championships a few weeks ago, it’s the turn of Alex Lefranc, 14 years old and brown belt, to win his place for the French Championships Cadets.
A great pride for the Judo Club of La Teste-de-Buch which sees, once again, the work of its young competitors rewarded.
3 testine cadets from the Union Judo Bassin d’Arcachon Sud (of which the Judo Club of La Teste-de-Buch is a part) took part in the New Aquitaine Championships Cadets 1st division this Saturday, March 12 in Lormont.
Théo Santa-Maria, 15 years old black belt 1st dan, in -60 kg wins his 1st round before losing in the 2nd. Unfortunately, he will not be drafted, just like Mathéo Guillaume
Luchet, 14 years old brown belt, who lost in the 1st round of -46kg.
Alex Lefranc, 1st year cadet, (in sport study at the Espoir de Lormont pole since September 2022) won 3 fights before losing in the ½ final on a sweep. In
3rd place, he found an opponent against whom he had lost in the 1st tournament of the season, but Alex has since progressed. He therefore won the 3rd place in -55 kg as well as his qualification for the French 1st division championships.
See you on April 1st at the Judo Institute, Porte de Châtillon in Paris.
Another young and brave competitor who will represent the club and the Bassin d’Arcachon at the French Championships! We can only be delighted with these very encouraging results. It is recognition of the tremendous work accomplished throughout the year by these nuggets of testine judo under the leadership of their coach Loïc Santa Maria, 3rd dan.
Axelle Vergriette/Lequarré, President and Florence Lapeyre, Treasurer of the Club.
