The Colombian Basketball Federation, through Resolution No. 005 of March 22, 2023, appointed a Proliga Basketball Committee in the department of Bolívar since the rector is headless of legal organization.

This committee will have a duration of 60 days and must convene a Club Assembly to elect the new administration, control and discipline body.
The functions of this committee will be to affiliate new clubs, if there are any and there is time, advise those who are already affiliated so that they have the documents in order and thus can have a voice and vote on election day, which could be in the Month of May.
Jorge Díaz is a renowned physical education graduate and one of the most important basketball coaches in Cartagena and Bolívar today. Under his guidance, Bolívar achieved a bronze medal at the 2019 National Games in La Heroica.
He has also won national championships in minor categories.
Alfonso Barandica, for his part, is an institution in the training of basketball players in Cartagena and the department. He directed the professional team of Bravos del Norte and Bolívar teams in minor categories both in men and women and has been a teacher in different educational institutions in the city.
José Rodríguez is a lawyer and a basketball player since he was 13 years old.
Rodríguez indicated that when the new Executive Committee is elected, the suggestion of the members of the Proliga Committee is that they encourage the affiliation of more clubs to the League, since there are many of them that are participating in tournaments and have not yet legalized by papers before the Ider .
