Cabo de Gata, the Tabernas desert and the Alto de Velefique, present on the route

The Provincial Palace of the Diputación de Almería hosted this Tuesday the official presentation of the Skoda Titan Desert Almería, the mountain bike event that in its fourth edition, after its premiere in 2020, will be held between October 7 and 10 of this year.
During the presentation, the organization revealed the dates of the fourth edition, between October 7 and 10, as well as news of the test, a route that will pass through Cabo de Gata or Alto de Velefique, as well as the rest of the characteristics of the career.
The Skoda Titan Desert Almería will have four stages, all of them played entirely in the province of Almería, with all the usual challenges and locations: Cabo de Gata, Tabernas desert and Alto de Velefique, among others.
“This is precisely what we like the most about the Skoda Titan Desert Almería. It shows numerous benefits of a province that, for many people, is yet to be discovered. Our magnificent Tabernas desert, the beauty of Cabo de Gata and the offer of tourism such a wide sporting activity that the province has”, commented the president of the Almería Provincial Council, Javier Aureliano García Molina.
Registration is now open for all participants who want to experience first-hand what the Almeria adventure is. The first 100 registrations have sold out in just five days since the opening on March 23. Runners will be able to obtain their number until September.
The presentation was attended by the president of the Almería Provincial Council, Javier Aureliano García Molina, the Andalusian Government delegate in Almería, Aránzazu Martín, and the Councilor for Sports of the Almería City Council, Juan José Segura, as well as the CEO of the Titan World Series, Jesús García, and the manager of Saveauto Skoda in Almería, Antonio Fernández.
