The Eibar leader takes a point from Tartiere and Cartagena comes back in Butarque

MADRID, 1 Abr. (EUROPA PRESS) –

SD Eibar closed the Saturday round of LaLiga SmartBank matchday 34 with a draw on their visit to Real Oviedo (1-1), thus adding another point to their leadership while in the rest of the day’s games they highlighted the comeback of FC Cartagena at the home of CD Leganés (1-3).

A headed goal scored by Sergi Enrich at 59′, making a foreshortening, put the final tie at the Carlos Tartiere Stadium (Oviedo). That neutralized Yanis Rahmani’s opening goal for Eibar, converted three minutes earlier by taking advantage of a loose ball in the local area.

With 64 points, the team from Eibar continues at the top of the Second Division, leading Granada by three points, which must play its match this day in a Sunday session. For its part, Oviedo is provisionally fifteenth, tied at 40 points with a Leganés in the doldrums.

The pepineros reaped their fifth defeat in a row, corroborating the bad feelings at the Butarque Municipal Stadium despite starting out winning with a penalty converted by José Manuel Arnaiz. Alfredo Ortuño and Francisco Feuillassier turned the score around, and Allan Nyom sealed the final 1-3 with an own goal.

Tenerife’s draw against Villarreal B (1-1) was of little use to both teams, usually anchored this season in the middle of the table. And finally, Burgos (49 pts.) left Racing Santander (38 pts.) in trouble after beating them 2-1 at El Plantío.
