The commitments of the youth sector of the club are heading towards the end of the season Rebirth Basketball Rimini. The Under 19 d’Eccellenza closes the tournament by touching the feat on the field of the leaders Pesaro. Away defeats for Under 17 and Under 15.

UNDER 19 OF EXCELLENCE

Vl Pesaro-Angels/RBR 73-71

The Angels/RBR visit the unbeaten leaders Pesaro in the last round of the Under 19 championship. The hosts prove to be a physical team with Stazzonelli, Sablich and Dia dictating the pace of the game against the Angels who suffer from the physicality and rhythm of the hosts. Despite the gap, the Angels try to hang on to the match with Rossi and Mulazzani but Pesaro flexes its muscles and at the long interval we go to the locker room with an important gap.

Coach Bernardi grooms his team in the locker room giving technical and tactical advice on how to deal with the physicality of Pesaro. Upon returning said done for the Angels. Away defeat for the Under 17 d’Eccellenza against Pontevecchio. Ready and go the game becomes a battle where the two teams respond blow by blow, but it is the away team thanks to individual plays that closes the first 10 minutes ahead on the score of 20-17. In the second quarter the Angels struggle to contain the 1v1 of the opponents who will be able to maintain the advantage and go to the long break with a score of 43 to 30.

In the second half the Angels try to fight showing good defenses and through counter-attacks they manage to come back point by point getting closer to the home team. But a break in the last minutes by Pontevecchio allows to recreate a gap between the two teams and to bring home the victory with a score of 74 to 59.

UNDER 15 OF EXCELLENCE

Unahotels Reggio Emilia-IBR/RBR 88-64 (22-13, 22-16, 18-17, 26-18)

Defeat for the Under 15 d’Eccellenza warriors on the difficult field of Reggio Emilia. Rimini away on the difficult and prestigious field of Reggio Emilia is decimated with Ricci, Longo and Bracci absent due to flu and injuries.
