MAZATLAN._ The teams from Restaurante El Velero and Cenaduría La Esquinita will meet in the final of the Second Force Basketball Tournament “Wolves-IH Organic Fruits”, on the Casa Hogar court of the Colonia Constitución.
El Velero advanced to the final after defeating their semifinal series against Picudos-Dugasa in two games.
The restaurateurs sealed their place in the final, after beating Picudos 59-56 in the second game.
The finalists, led by Jesús “Rodman” Escárcega, led the offense through Kevin Bastidas with 17 points and Roberto Uribe added 16.
Giovanny Osuna stood out for Picudos with 12 and Julio Suárez contributed 11.
The first game had been taken with authority 72-42.
La Esquinita leaves Caimanes on the road
Cenaduría La Esquinita entered the grand final of the Alpha category, after beating Caimanes 56-48 in the second semifinal duel.
Omar Ramírez led La Esquinita with 20 points and his brother Cristian Ramírez added 12. For the eliminated Sergio Tronco with 14 and Fernando Serrano contributed 13.
In Easter
The Alfa final, between Restaurante El Velero and Cenaduría La Esquinita, will be played on Easter Week.
