Yesterday morning, the IX edition of the Ciudad de Río Grande Awards was presented, a ceremony that will take place this Thursday, April 13, where the best athletes of 2022 will be awarded in 36 disciplines.
BIG RIVER.- The official presentation of the ninth edition of the “Ciudad de Río Grande” awards was made at the Virginia Choquintel museum, a statuette that seeks to crown the best athletes of the 2022 season in 36 disciplines and among all the winners will seek to crown gold 2022 , the best athlete of the season.
The event was attended by the manager of the Sports, Culture and Youth Agency, Sebastián Bendaña, and the Undersecretary of Sports, Diego Radwanitzer.
In his speech, the Manager of the Agency stated that “as a city of sports we once again hold the party for athletes from Rio Grande do Sul.”
“Beyond winners and winners, we want this ceremony to be a meeting place to enjoy a different night,” said Bendaña.
With this official presentation, the names of the athletes who are part of each of the disciplines that presented shortlists were also confirmed to choose the best in each of them.
Likewise, the Executive Manager of the Municipal Sports Agency confirmed the presence of the Olympic medalist Paula Pareto, a reference in world sports, who in addition to being part of the gala will offer a clinic on Friday.
The ceremony that will bring together the ternados will take place this Thursday 13, at 9:00 p.m. at the Carlos Margalot Sports Center; where the winners in each discipline will be known, in addition to gold and platinum, a prize that will be obtained by the best athlete from Rio Grande do Sul who performs outside the province.
The concentration of the athletes will be an hour before, from 8:00 p.m. the doors will open for the ternados to arrive with their guests and take place in the hall, while an hour later the Sports Festival will begin.
