Alghero. After the positive and participatory experience of last January 14th, this Saturday 15th April the second appointment with the initiative dedicated to care and arrangement of the green areas of the Maria Pia Parkpromoted by the Social Promotion Association Espai Alguer.
The association was born with the aim of relaunching the Maria Pia park where there are numerous sports clubs and green areas available to citizens. This second edition was organized together with the young people included in the project “Never Neet – Youth in ferment” (Alert Fermenti in Comune – ANCI – Initiative co-financed by the Presidency of the Council of Ministers – Department for Youth Policies and the Universal Civil Service) with the Municipality of Alghero leader, and guided by the social cooperative Ecotoni Onlus, partner of the project.
L’appointment for all those who wish to participate in the initiative it is for Saturday 15th April at 08:30 at the Club House of the Amateur Rugby Alghero, in via degli Amici del Rugby n. 3.
From here, armed with good will, we will begin to clean up and arrange the green areas, even with special equipment, paying particular attention to these stages: via Campania, via della Tramontana, via Francesco Costantino, via degli Amici del Rugby, viale Europe in front of “Parco Caporal Maggiore Scelto Gian Marco Manca”, via Umbria and more generally the areas adjacent to the Maria Pia park.
The following local realities have already joined the initiative: Amatori Rugby Alghero, Tigris Baseball, Catalana Baseball, Tennis Club Alghero, ASD Roman Club, Alghero Calcio, APD Cuccureddu 1969, La Pergola Srl, Hotel Mistral, Hotel Oasis, Padel Club Maria Pia, PGS and Camping Mariposa.
