Maximilian Neuchrist can celebrate reaching the quarterfinals at the ATP Challenger in Leon, Mexico!
The 31-year-old beat the Chinese Yunchaokete Bu (ATP-242nd) in the round of 16 6: 4, 6: 3 and thus entered the round of eight. There Neuchrist is now dealing with the German Elmar Ejupovic (ATP-292.).
Thanks to his recent run, Neuchrist can now look forward to a new career high in the ATP world rankings.
The 31-year-old made up a few places in the live ranking and is now ranked 187th. With further successes in Leon he could make up more places.
